Care & final checks
Agreed work is followed by checks suited to your watch.

entrust it to us.
Not sure what your watch needs? Speak with our watchmakers about the next step.
Ask our watchmakersWhen is an authenticity check worth doing?
Before buying a watch privately or online, before selling or part-exchanging, when insuring a watch, or when you have inherited a watch and its history is unclear.
Do you open the watch?
Where appropriate, and with your agreement, the case back is opened so the movement can be examined, as many details can only be checked inside.
Will I receive a certificate?
Confirm the written findings available with the team before booking. Alpha Group is independent; no manufacturer certification is implied.
What should I bring?
The watch and any box, papers, receipts or service records you have. Paperwork helps, but it is the watch itself that is inspected.
What will an authenticity check cost?
Costs depend on the watch and the scope of the inspection. The team explains the cost before any work begins.
Is my enquiry a confirmed booking?
Not yet. The form starts a conversation about your watch. Please wait for the team to confirm the next step and agree a time with you.
