Laser repair
Laser watch repair.
Precise laser repair for worn, dented or damaged cases, lugs, bracelets and clasps, rebuilding metal that polishing alone would remove.
“Thank you for bringing my watch back to life, it feels new again!”
Our Hatton Garden workshop
Rebuild the metal. Keep the shape.
Laser repair adds new material exactly where it is needed, so a deep mark or a worn edge can be rebuilt rather than polished away. Every watch is assessed first to confirm the approach is right for it.
- Inspect the case, lugs, bracelet or clasp and identify the damage
- Confirm the metal and whether laser repair is suitable
- Remove the movement and any parts that could be affected, where required
- Add material precisely to fill dents, gouges or worn areas
- Refinish the repaired area to blend with the original surfaces
- Reassemble, pressure test where appropriate and check the finish

Ask our watchmakersWhat can laser repair fix?
Deep scratches, dents and gouges in cases and bracelets, worn or thinned lugs, damaged clasps and worn bracelet links. The team confirms what is achievable after inspecting the watch.
How is it different from polishing?
Polishing removes metal to smooth a surface, which can soften edges and change a case's shape over time. Laser repair adds metal where it has been lost, so the original lines can be kept.
Which metals can be repaired?
Laser repair suits most case and bracelet metals, including stainless steel, gold and platinum. The team confirms suitability for your watch after inspection.
Will the repair be visible?
The repaired area is refinished to match the surrounding surface. Any limitations, for example with unusual finishes, are discussed before work begins.
What will laser repair cost?
Costs depend on the watch and the work required. Following an assessment, the team explains the estimate so you can decide how to proceed.
How long will it take?
Timing depends on the extent of the damage and any other work needed. An estimated completion time is given after inspection.
